Renewa ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information when you use the Renewa mobile application ("App").
We collect the following information:
Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
Product data: Financial product details you enter, including provider names, balances, payment amounts, renewal dates, interest rates and other product-specific information.
App preferences: Your chosen theme, currency, PIN settings and notification preferences.
Usage data: Anonymous analytics about how you interact with the App to help us improve the experience.
We use your information to: provide and maintain the App's core functionality; send renewal reminders and notifications you have opted into; calculate financial projections and summaries; improve and develop new features; and respond to support requests.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase cloud infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication and access controls.
Your PIN and Face ID settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:
Service providers: Google Firebase for cloud storage and authentication, Apple for push notifications.
Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation or legal process.
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data ("right to be forgotten"); export your data in a portable format; withdraw consent at any time; and object to processing of your data.
You can exercise these rights directly within the App via Settings, or by contacting us.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
The App uses local device storage (AsyncStorage) to save your preferences, saved calculations and cached data. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to external servers unless required for core functionality.
The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
